2021 NSFAS Applications

Please be advised that 2021 NSFAS Applications is opening on the 1st August 2020.

This is your document to guide you on the processes of assisting young people when applying for NSFAS funding.

    NSFAS would really help me when it can accept me and sponsor me because I believe I can make a difference by going to university and change my home situation and have a better life that could make a difference in our country too because unemployment rate will decrease

    My name is Virginia nombuyiselo am seventeen years of age I live in witbank at coronation and my mom is not working she tries by all means for me to have a good life and better future I lost my dad was I was doing grade two and I believe I could repay her by going to university and make my self proud then her I would really appreciate it if NSFAS could help us out

      Thank you for your query. Blind SA does not make applications to NSFAS, however, you will be contacted via your email address with the contact details for you to make your application directly to NSFAS.

    Hi my name is nombongo Jantjie I am 26 years old i would like nasfas to sponsor me because i would like to make a change in my home and around community I don’t have grade 12 and I will appreciate if nasfas sponsor me because i feel like is never later to further your education even if you are 40 or 50 thanks

      Blind SA is unable to make applications on your behalf, however The contact details for NSFAS Bursary Applications are as follows
      Tel: 08000 67327
      Applicants and returning students may contact the Contact Centre Toll free number 08000 67327 on Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 17:00 daily alternatively send an email to info@nsfas.org.za.

    NSfas will fund the students of 2020 in 2021 only if they meet the requirements “but some of us we couldn’t reach to return to learn,I still have to study again.

      Dear Ennet

      You will need to make your application to NSFAS directly, as Blind SA does not have access to their Student funding.
