Isizulu TTS BETA Testing

Blind SA initiated the development of local South African language TTS for screen readers. The first project commenced with Isizulu TTS and the second project will be Setswana TTS.

The Isizulu TTS is in collaboration with software developers from Sweden and Wits University. The project is at Version 3.0  in development and is ready for beta testing by a larger group of Isizulu mother-tongue language screen reading users.

The South African language TTS developed by Blind SA will be distributed at no charge to blind and partially sighted  users. Our intention is to encourage the culture of reading and writing in our languages.
