Copyright high court trial 21 September 2021 – 8 September 2021

Blind and partially sighted people’s basic human rights in accessing reading materials in accessible formats – braille, daisy (Digital Accessible Information System) and audio is still being violated despite Democracy since 1994.

We are addressing Government including the President, various ministers, Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities, members of parliament and other leaders of South Africa. We are urging members of the public to join our campaign to #EndTheBookFamine on social media and add their voices to the call for equal access to reading materials.
