Request for Casual day support

Casual Day has become a firm favourite on the calendar of many of South African businesses.  It is an excellent opportunity for corporate team building, whilst also making a contribution to one of the country’s most vulnerable sectors of society; persons with disabilities.

The project encourages people to dress differently to the usual corporate dress code, whether dressed up or dressed down.  The ‘license’ to be dressed outrageously, is the Casual Day sticker which is obtained for a donation of R10.

The project is managed by The National Council for Persons with Physical Disabilities in South Africa.  Our organisation participates via the infrastructure of this project to raise funds for the services that we render towards persons with disabilities.  Every R10 raised for a sticker is important as this is how we raise funds that provide material relief and promote rights to accessibility, education, housing, employment and full integration into society.

My request is that you will grant permission for your personnel to participate in this project.  Staff members/Students are usually eager to participate but are hesitant if permission has not been granted at managerial level.  All we ask is your PERMISSION and the name of a CONTACT PERSON with whom we can liaise so we can supply the stickers, posters and brochures.  We make it easy and inexpensive as we supply printed promotional material free-of-charge.

We cannot change the whole world but we can change the world for one person.  Help us to do this by allowing your staff/Students  to “get on board” by dressing differently and to wear the official Casual Day sticker on Friday, 7 September 2018.

Prices and merchandise sold in the spirit of raising funds and awareness for persons living with disabilities.  “GET ON BOARD AND MAKE A DIFFERNCE”
